Still time to register for the Rescue Run 2013!

There is still time to register for this year's Rescue Run if you have not already. You can register today for $30 by filling out a paper registration at We Run in North Liberty. You can also sign up tomorrow morning starting at 7-7:45 am for $35.

If you are already registered, you can pick up your packet today at We Run in North Liberty from 3-6 pm or on race day from 7-7:45 am.

The race will officially start at 8 am!

If you have donations for Rapha House, please bring them when you check in on Saturday morning.

Today is the day! Eat at the Iowa City Pizza Ranch (1610 Sycamore St, Iowa City, IA) with your friends and/or family between 5pm-8pm --- 100% of your tips and a portion of your bill will go towards this year's Rescue Run.

Online Sign Up//Rescue Run Benefit @ Pizza Ranch

Hey folks!

We are less than a week away from this year's Rescue Run!! We got two newsworthy updates before the big day!!

1) Online registration will officially CLOSE on Tuesday, September 10th at 11:59PM. After that, you will have to sign up on race day and pay an additional $5 fee. Sign up soon!!

2) On Wednesday, September 11th between 5-8pm @ Pizza Ranch in Iowa City, 15% of purchases will go to the Rescue Run while 100% of the tips going directly to the Rescue Run. The Iowa City Pizza Ranch is located at 1610 Sycamore Street, Iowa City, Iowa.

9 days till this year's Rescue Run in Terry Trueblood Park in Iowa City, Iowa. --- Note that if running is not your thing, walkers are definitely welcome! =)

Bake Sale!

Tomorrow, August 29, the Rescue Run coordinating team will be at Old Capitol Mall in Iowa City selling delicious baked goods! All the proceeds will go to help this year's Rescue Run be a success and to help start the newest Rapha House! Just a few of the treats that will be available include, cookies, brownies, homemade pies, and muffins. Stop by between 10-3 to get a treat and sign up for the race! The Burkles, who will be starting the safe house, will also be there to tell you more and answer questions about their work!

The Rescue Run 2013

Registration is now open for The Rescue Run 2013!

What: 5K run/walk to benefit Rapha House.

When: Saturday, September 14 2013

Where: Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, Iowa City IA

Why: All money will go to benefit the building of a Rapha House safe house for children with special needs who have been sexually abused and trafficked.

TONIGHT at the IC public library there will be a special showing of Baht, a Rapha House documentary. All attendees will be given a special $10 off coupon for the run!
